Burai-Kovács & Partners was established in 1989. The aim of the founders was to establish a law firm specialized in the needs of the economic actors, primarily satisfying the need for high-level legal expertise in the oil and gas industry and in the domestic and foreign trade sector. Our law firm also focuses on other areas of law that are important to businesses, such as corporate law, financial and tax law, labour law, competition law, intellectual property law, the judicial practice of courts and arbitration tribunals in those areas and, increasingly, EU law.

We continuously endeavor to become familiar with and understand the business activities and corporate culture of our Hungarian and foreign clients operating in different sectors of the economy. In so doing, we can rely on the assistance of our attorneys, who have many years of experience in commerce and industry and are familiar with the characteristics of the branches of business concerned, both in the domestic and the foreign business environments, as they have previously acted as in-house legal counsels to major industrial and foreign trade entreprises. We are thus well prepared to provide our clients with professional legal advice even on the most complex legal issues and to suggest them reasonable legal and business solutions which are feasible and practical at the same time.
